Since not working at a Medi Clinic as a Dermal Specialist i've found it hard to get my hands on good quality peels available to the public that have little to no down time - Until I came across a brand called "Skin Define"
I was on the search for a superficial peel that would hydrate, even my skin tone/ clarity, speed up my skins cell turnover and therefore help with a few faint blemish spots & overall appearance/health. Our skin is our biggest organ and we only get one so I like to look after mine and help it out where I can.
I chose to go with the 15% Glycolic / 15% Lactic peel to try out first. I chose this one knowing the small molecules in glycolic acid so easily penetrate into the skin helping the acceleration of the exfoliating process. Whilst Lactic acid also accelerates exfoliation and cell turn over it also has fantastic hydrating properties for the skin.
Everybody's skin is different and my skin is used to active ingredients so I found there was absolutely no downtime or even skin redness after removing it which was incredibly convenient & just what I was wanting.
So far iv'e applied the peel 3 times over the last few weeks and seen a difference in my skins clarity & hydration and I feel super pleased about it. I'm going to order a few more peels and hopefully provide some photos of my skin before and after to help out anyone who is needing a bit of a skin boost.
